  • Hi folks! It occurred to me that it might be fun to have a bunch of us Tripatini members meet up for a drink or dinner at some point during WTM. I've been in touch with the folks at the Hotel Stafford, which is promoting the seasonal "Thanksgiving Martini" at its bar. If y'all have any interest in that, there's a possibility. Otherwise, other suggestions welcome...
  • Hi, Heather:
By all means start at the media centre! It's actually centrally located. It has comfy chairs to sit in while you peruse the layout and plan your route(s).
    And, Mary Jo:
There's fast Thames River taxis to get you close to the WTM site, so if you find lodging near one of the stops, it's very convenient. You don't need to look for a place near the expo hall, which is NOT very convenient for most sightseeing I've ever wanted to do in London .
    Susan
  • I plan to be at WTM, have my credentials, but haven't made hotel arrangements yet. I'll be in London for a week, so am looking for a place that is conveniently located for both Ex Cel as well as for general sightseeing. All that, and something that won't cost me an arm, leg, and first born child.

Suggestions please?? (And yes, that's begging!)

    THANKS!
  • Sounds like you enjoyed it, Susan. Think we should work from the media centre to the floor or the other way around? Appreciate the insight.
  • Wish I were joining y'all at World Travel Market in London! I went last year, and was completely overwhelmed by the experience.
  • cool! wish I was going to London!
  • Media Kitty loves you too, Elyse.
Never been to the Virgin Islands. Love rum but it's been all merlot for me lately...Just back from Venice, Florence, Paris. And Laura and I are getting set to tackle World Travel Market in London in a few weeks. Cheers!
  • Love Media Kitty We need to catch up on a million things!

Virgin Islands. just visited St. Croix, but I loved it because it was the road less traveled, and had a unique charm that was not super touristy. Also, if you like rum, St. Croix is a must, as it is the home of Cruzan rum.
  • Look forward to welcoming you to Media Kitty, Patricia. For now, just add www.google.com or something along those lines and we'll sort it out later. Thanks for checking us out. Look forward to working with you.

  • Heather, the join form insists on a web site that I don't currently have. Any work-around for that?
