Savannah Oaks RV Resort

The second stop will be among the famous Spanish-moss-covered oaks in and around Savannah,. This RV resort is actually located just 13 minutes south of Pooler, right on the banks of Ogeechee River. Nearby you can also visit the the Savannah-Ogeechee Canal (and the eponymous museum devoted to it) as well as fish for bream, bass, catfish, redbreast sunfish, shad, and more, or row a boat for some exercise. There are RV campsites for a $241 weekly fee and one cabin that can be rented for $540 per week. There are no tents allowed but plenty of activities in and around the area. You can take day trips to nearby Brunswick and the Golden Isles of St. Simons, Okefenokee Swamp, Jekyll, and Sea Islands.
