A blissful moment with humpback whales in Bora Bora

  • For those of you who get to Moorea, don't forget to stop at the fruit alcohol distillery. They have wonderful free samples of the delicious local brews and grogs.

  • Hello!
I was able to go on a weeklong press trip to Tahiti, Moorea, and Bora Bora in late August. It had been my dream destination for 20 years and lived up to all expectations! I am hoping I can someday return with my husband...

I will soon have an article link to share about my trip, to be published in a few weeks.

I would love to learn more about the members of this group and your experiences in French Polynesia.

One of my favorite new food discoveries was poisson cru, the marinated tuna dish with coconut milk... divine!

If anyone would like to see photos of my trip, I have many posted on my Facebook page. Do a search for Word Journeys and "Like" my page and you can view them there.
