Colonial charm in Suchitoto

Built in 1853, Santa Lucía is the iconic church of this town's old quarter, dating back to the early 16th century, with cobblestone streets, lovely colonial houses, rich cultural traditions, and panoramic views of nearby Lake Suchitlán. With a population of around 25,000, Suchitoto is just a 45-minute drive from San Salvador.
