Leaving noise and civilization behind to walk among these ancient trees brought us to the famous "Grizzly Giant," the grove’s elder statesman, which rivals the Statue of Liberty in height and sports a branch extending outward that is larger than the trunks of most trees. read post

—    Examples of how travel destinations spanning the planet are effected by the six-trillion-dollar global travel and tourism industry

—     Positive ways to contribute to local societies and economies when traveling throughout North America and abroad

—    What local communities are doing to earn money while simultaneously telling the stories that preserve their cultures

These discussions will contribute to a new journalistic project called “Write/Peace”, new on creative crowdfunding site: Kickstarter. Over the course of one year, we will publish a series of long-form (3,500+) articles addressing the economic impact of travel and tourism worldwide.

Last Monday we saw a mother jaguar and her babies in crossing the river in Tortuguero, Costa Rica!!! This is such an spectacular sighting that I had to share it with you guys. It is not often that we get to see an endagered animal,so this is most special. Protecting our surrounding is key factor to keep these things on happening.
