Hike the Inca Trail with 0 impact on your wallet

How can you hike the Inca Trail for free? If you bring 7 paying ($650 USD each) friends (or enemies, your choice), you hike with 0 impact on your wallet. Must book by Dec. 31, 2010. (because we want your deposit before the end of the year)
Only valid for hikes in April & May, 2011 (because that's when it's most convenient for us!)

What if you don't have 7 friends? Or friends who are employed? Well, not to worry. If you only have 4,5, or 6 paying friends, we feel sorry for you, but you can still come for half price. That's only $325 USD.

4-Day Hike Only. Starts and ends in Cusco, Peru.
We provide:
camping equipment, porters, guides, moleskin and meals on the trail
Hike ends with a grand, guided tour of Machu Picchu (if you're still breathing)
and we get you back to Cusco where we deposit you at your hotel.

This deal works best if you are fit. (or at least under the illusion that you are fit and have 7 wealthy friends who think they are fit!)

re: a service trip in Costa Rica. I found this a little tricky because Costa Rica is such a well-run country with high literacy rates and a lifespan equivalent to that in the U.S. But the owner of Finca Rosa Blanca, the ecolodge with the highest environmental ratings in Costa Rica, has a suggestion:

There are a bunch of organizations in Costa Rica, many of them are language schools which offer a social work component. I would suggest though a friend of mine who has done good work for 20 years with street kids and indigenous tribes; her name is Gail Nystrom The Costa Rican Humanitarian Foundation http://www.crhf.org/

I'm interested in bringing a small group of high school students to Costa Rica for a service trip. (8 days in March or summer 2011) Would like to avoid tourist destinations. Prefer to work with an indigenous organization/company.

10 min outside of vegas - Red Rock canyon - 3,000 vertical feet. Don't worry I'm not that good :). We'll do some easy trad or some one pitch sport climbs.
